The Kelly Group Attends the Miracle League of Harford County Charity Baseball Game

On Thursday, September 11th, The Kelly Group had the honor of participating in a charity baseball game with the Miracle League of Harford County.

The Miracle League began in Conyers, Georgia in 1998, when the Rockdale Youth Baseball Association invited children with unique abilities to enjoy the game of baseball on a traditional field. That very first season, 140 players took the field, proving that the love of the game has no limits. By the following year, a new kind of field was introduced—one thoughtfully designed for Miracle League athletes. Featuring a cushioned, rubberized surface, the field makes it easier and safer for players with special needs to run the bases and experience the joy of the game.

Guided by the belief that Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball, the Miracle League has grown to become a remarkable organization. Today, more than 240 Miracle League programs across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada provide opportunities for over 200,000 children and adults with unique abilities to take part in America’s pastime.
