Bryan Kelly Named a Managing Partner Awards honoree by The Daily Record
We are proud to announce that The Kelly Group’s Bryan E. Kelly, CFP and Co-Founder, has been named one of The Daily Record’s inaugural Managing Partner Awards honorees!
The Managing Partners Awards honor managing partners and equivalent senior firm leaders in both the legal and financial sectors who demonstrate vision, integrity, and measurable impact on their organizations and communities.
Under Bryan’s leadership, The Kelly Group has grown to more than 20 full-time employees and now serves more than 1,100 families in Harford County and beyond.
Bryan’s commitment to philanthropy has inspired our firm for decades. He is a former chairman and current board member of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, a board member of Harford Bank and the UM UCH Foundation, and a former chairman of the Harford Community College Board of Trustees.

Bryan E. Kelly, CFP® was named a recipient of The Daily Record's inaugural 2026 Managing Partners Award. The award recognizes managing partners and senior leaders in the legal and financial services industries who demonstrate leadership, integrity, organizational impact, commitment to developing future talent, and meaningful contributions to their firms and the broader community.
The firm was notified of the award on April 22, 2026, and the awards event was held on June 9, 2026. Recipients were selected by The Daily Record's editorial team based on a nomination submitted by the firm, three letters of recommendation submitted between April 1 and April 3, 2026, by business and community leaders, and the editorial team's evaluation of each nominee. The firm's nomination highlighted Bryan's vision for the firm and his leadership, mentorship, stewardship, and community commitment since the firm's founding in 1997.
The firm paid a $20 fee to submit the nomination. After the award was received, the firm paid a $1,750 licensing fee to use the award name and logo in marketing materials. No compensation was paid to obtain or influence the award.
