Welcoming Summer Intern William Ruff to The Kelly Group

Please join The Kelly Group in welcoming the first of our 2025 summer interns, William Ruff. Will began his internship on June 9 and will be with us through July 11 before heading into his senior year at Towson University.

The Kelly Group’s internship program reflects our commitment to cultivating future professionals in financial planning and wealth management, while providing meaningful learning opportunities for students who are eager to grow and contribute.

Will was drawn to financial planning because it combines two of his passions: finance and working with people. He enjoys learning how to build well-diversified portfolios and helping others make their money work for them. During his time with us, he hopes to gain practical experience in every stage of the financial planning process, from goal setting to implementation.

At Towson, Will is majoring in Finance and serves as Vice President of the University’s Club Baseball team, where he manages team funds while also playing outfield and pitching. A Bel Air native and Calvert Hall graduate, Will has held a variety of service roles and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and teammates.
